Happy mind=happy life

Meditation has helped me be in a better mood. I'd like to thank my dad for getting me into meditation. I've been practicing a form of meditation called mindfulness using an iPhone app called "headspace" for years. I've heard the cons of meditation like it is boring or it may have you feeling more stressed. Hearing this always made me arch my eyebrows in confusion because meditation is  really beneficial because it helps us control our mind and thoughts and meditation even helps turn off our minds when we do not need it anymore. I definitely notice my ability to shut my brain off and its so awesome because I feel mentally fresh. Meditation has many neurological benefits and also improves attention and concentration. All it takes is 10 minutes of your day. Sparing 10 minutes for a refreshed mind is totally worth it in my opinion. I feel many like to emphasize physical strength but mental strength is also VERY important and unfortunately overlooked.
